Thomas Laffont is the Co-Founder of Coatue, one of the world’s largest technology investment platforms with over $95B AUM, and investments in OpenAI, Anthropic, SpaceX, Snap, Anduril, Cursor, Databricks, Revolut, Notion, and many more iconic technology companies.
Thomas leads the firm’s private investment platforms across both early-stage and growth, partnering with some of the most enduring and impactful companies of the last two decades.
He began his career at Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles, where he represented artists in Motion Picture and Television. Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Yale College and lives in California.
